About afro-nets	English
The AFRO-NETS mailing list has been set up to facilitate the exchange of information between the different networks active in Health Research for Development in the Eastern and Southern African Region. It is a forum for discussion that can support collaboration between the networks in the fields of capacity building, planning and conducting research, transformation of research recommendations into action, etc. The list also serves as a forum for announcing meetings, training courses and other events of interest to the networks. Using afro-nets
To post a message to all the list members, send email to afro-nets@healthnet.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below. For more about Mailman, refer to the List Member Manual (also available as PDF document).
Subscribing to afro-nets via Email
Send email to afro-nets-join@healthnet.org. The subject and body of the message will be ignored, so it doesn't matter what you put there. When you receive a confirmation message, reply to it to complete your request.
Subscribing to afro-nets via the Web
Subscribe to afro-nets by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
